Below is a Q&A list of the most frequently asked questions regarding the Nabis Marketplace.
Q. Can any of my team members set up the Marketplace?
Only ‘Admins’ in your organization can list products on the Marketplace and will have visibility into the Marketplace Tab. If you need to upgrade any users/managers to ‘admin’ status, please go to the Team page on click on the ‘Role’ dropdown to change your users’ roles (only Brand or Nabis Admins can change team members’ roles)
Q. How do we update our banner and logo?
Brands can upload a banner and logo to be displayed on your Marketplace. You’ll also be able to update other marketing assets (Brand Description & Marketplace PDF). These assets can be switched out at any time. (Sales tab → Marketplace dropdown → Organization tab)
Q. What are the dimensions for the banner?
If you would like to upload a custom banner for your brand page, please upload a high-quality image of at least 1456px by 320px, with a ratio of 4.55 width to 1 height.
Q. Can I upload a sales sheet to the Marketplace?
Brands on the Marketplace can upload a PDF sales sheet downloadable by the Retailers. Max file size is 9.54MB. (Sales tab → Marketplace dropdown → Organization tab)
Q. What if I sell multiple Brands, but my brand name is something different?
If you would like to split your Brand page title for display purposes, you can change the ‘Doing Business As’ field on the ‘My Organizations’ page and click the ‘Edit’ button several times.
This will change your Brand Page display on the Marketplace, but please note, that this will also change your DBA on all future manifests and documentation (for normal Nabis orders as well).
If you would like a separate Marketplace page for all of your Brands, you’ll need a separate account, which requires an additional software fee.
Q. How are products sorted on the brand page?
They are sorted, by default, Popularity, and users can change the sort to most/least expensive as well. If you need to adjust the ordering of your products that do not normally fit the Alphabetical mold, we suggest altering the ‘Product Display Name’ (Inventory → Products → ‘Edit’ Pencil Icon), and for products you want listed first, start the display name with a number, i.e., “Zebra Kush -- 1g” is listed last, while “1g - Zebra Kush” will be listed first (before other products which start with letters).
Q. Is there a limit to how many Marketing Tags I can place on a product on the Marketplace?
No, previously, there was a limit of 5 tags, but now we have extended that limit (we still recommend no more than 10).
Q. What are the image specs for the products?
For the main product image, the display dimensions are 1080px × 1080px (width x height), so the highest quality, 1:1 width-height ratio image is strongly preferred (square), but photos will automatically be resized and optimized.
When product details are clicked, the image display dimensions become 351px × 177px (width x height), with a 1.98:1 width-height ratio (rectangle).
To prevent any resizing or blurring of your images, center the square image within the rectangle.
Q. Can I upload multiple images for a product?
Yes! Brands have the ability to upload up to 5 additional secondary product images for an animated carousel display on the Marketplace!
Q. Can I zoom in on a product image?
Not at this time, but we hope to include this in future iterations of the Marketplace.
Q. Where can I list the MSRP retail price?
There isn’t a dedicated MSRP section at this time, but you can list this information in the description.
Q. Can I get a dummy retailer login/account?
We are currently unable to offer dummy retailer logins, but we do provide ‘Preview’ functionality for all listed products in our Edit Products Modal (Inventory -- Products Tab -- Yellow ‘Edit’ Pencil Icon). This will display both the thumbnail and the detailed Product view as the Retailers will see your products on the Marketplace.
Q. Can I see my full brand page as it looks on the Marketplace?
Yes, there is a grey button inside the address book to ‘View Marketplace As Retailer’.
Q. How will unit denomination work for products on Marketplace (e.g., case vs. unit)?
Marketplace products are sold in case pack quantities, and users on both the regular Nabis Order Form and the Marketplace will only be able to select in multiples of that quantity.
For example, if you are selling an MOQ (Minimum Orderable Quantity) ‘six-pack’, and each of the six costs $2, users can only select in increments of 6 (6, 12, 18, etc.), and buying 12 (2 six-packs) will incur a cost of $24.
Q. What are best practices for naming my product and displaying it on Marketplace?
We recommend keeping the Display name shorter than ~ 25/30 characters, so it doesn’t wrap onto the next line in Product Details Views. ‘Ice Cream Cake Preroll’ example with ~22 characters:
Q. Can we still submit orders on the regular Nabis Brand portal?
Yes, all existing Nabis features and Marketplace-listed products will be fully available for sale on the existing Nabis portal.
