RESTRICTIONS OVERVIEW
As a brand organization owner or administrator, you have the capability to place restrictions on retailers:
-
Credit Holds: A brand owner or admin may place a brand-specific credit hold on a retailer.
-
As a result, no one in the brand’s organization may create orders going to that retailer.
- Orders that have already been submitted can still be delivered, but new orders cannot be submitted.
-
As a result, no one in the brand’s organization may create orders going to that retailer.
-
COD Restrictions: As a brand organization owner or admin, you can impose COD restrictions on any retailer in your “Credit” page. This restriction will confine the retailer to placing orders with your brand on a COD basis only.
-
Brand organization owners and admins will not be able to override the COD restriction when placing orders unless the restriction is deactivated in the settings.
-
Alternatively, brands are welcome to reachout to help@nabis.com if terms are desired.
-
-
- If your Marketplace retailer group settings specify net terms for a retailer, but you add a COD restriction for the retailer in the credit settings, the credit settings will override the retailer group settings.
Retailer Experience on Credit Holds / COD Restrictions
Depending on the type of restriction, retailers may have limitations on order placements:
-
Credit Hold: Retailers under a brand credit hold can only place orders with brands other than the one with the credit hold.
-
For Brand credit-holds, retailers should contact their brand partner about lifting the hold.
-
COD Restrictions: Retailers subjected to COD restrictions by a brand are restricted to placing COD orders with the particular brand under restriction. They may place orders with other brands for non-COD terms.
