Reporting Self-Collections

OVERVIEW

We highly recommend abstaining from self-collections as much as possible as it generally creates additional work streams for all parties. Any brand on our platform may self-collect any open or outstanding invoices, or for future orders.

  • Payments may be paid directly to brands as a partial payment or in full. Once Nabis receives written confirmation from the brand, we will update our records closing the order as self-collected.

  • Report Self Collections to AR@nabis.com directly after pick up, or when you decide to collect. If self-collections were not for the full amount Nabis will continue to reach out to retailers to collect the remaining balance. Please include Order #, Retailer, and $ Amount.

  • Report specific Nabis invoice numbers to AR@nabis.com when receiving funds from LeafLink Financial. Leaflink invoices collected by brands will be flipped to a SELF-COLLECTED payment status.

  • After the order is closed out, the regular Nabis fees will be subtracted from the brand's subsequent remittance. If fees were already deducted because the invoice became 45 days past due, there will be no additional fees incurred. Below is an example remittance with self-collections:

Nabis will not be involved with the collections process for orders on Net terms

  1. All orders submitted with NET payment terms will be delivered by Nabis and must be self-collected by the brand, not Nabis.

  2. Our invoicing team will proceed to change the delivered NET terms order(s) to a “self-collected” payment status 45 days post-delivery to close out the invoice

    1. If you collect funds from Rebud before the 45-day period, please email ar@nabis.com so we can change the payment status.

  3. If an order is on COD or the Must-Pay-Previous-Balance-Box is selected, then Nabis will collect the balance upon delivery.
